The Assistant Sales Professional is responsible for assisting the applicable Sales Professional(s) in the sales, service, and support of their respective territory.


  • Provide administrative and sales support to Sales Professionals within respective territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with applicable accounts
  • Prepare and maintain a daily call report
  • Prepare and distribute account interaction reports, including forecasts and trends
  • Meet (in partnership with Sales Professionals) territory sales objectives
  • Merchandise product collections / lines at applicable accounts
  • Manage inventory levels and monitor sell through at applicable accounts
  • Manage travel within respective territory
  • Attend seasonal sales meetings
  • Attend annual PGA Merchandise Show
  • Attend local tradeshows and events

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Engaging presentation, written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to prospect, negotiate and close
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel domestically
  • Self-motivated and deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency


  • 1-3 year’s experience in an inside sales or sales capacity
